Rain Gutters
Custom Seamless Rain Gutters for Your Home
Properly installed seamless rain gutters are a great investment for any home. They play a crucial role in managing water runoff from your roof during heavy rainfall.
Without a reliable gutter system, water simply follows gravity and falls wherever it pleases, leading to potential issues like water pooling around your foundation. This not only causes inconvenience but can also undermine the structural integrity of your home. At Discounted Roofing & Remodeling Co. in Joshua, TX, we offer high-quality gutter installations, ensuring your home is protected with professional, efficient service at competitive prices.

Benefits of Residential Rain Gutters:
- Prevents water from pooling around the foundation of your home, which can cause long-term foundation issues.
- Helps avoid waterlogging in your yard, allowing grass and plants to grow freely.
- Keeps you dry when entering or exiting your home during rain, by redirecting water runoff.
- Protects the fascia and eaves of your home from water damage, preventing wood rot.
- Channels water away from areas where it's not wanted, such as garden beds, through properly positioned downspouts.
Designing a Quality Custom Seamless Residential Rain Gutter System
When designing a rain gutter system for your home, several factors must be considered to ensure efficiency and longevity. With years of experience in creating custom gutter systems, we carefully examine your roofline and surrounding landscape to ensure the perfect fit for your home. Our seamless rain gutters are custom fabricated on-site during installation, tailored to your home’s specific dimensions. This seamless design minimizes the risk of leaks, providing superior water management.
We use high-quality, rust-resistant aluminum that is both durable and lightweight. The factory-applied paint finish is robust, ensuring that your gutters will maintain their aesthetic appeal for years to come.
We offer two size options for our rain gutter systems, designed to meet the specific needs of your home.
Trough Size Considerations
The size of the trough (gutter) running along your roof’s edge is an important factor in managing water flow. We offer two primary sizes for the gutter trough: 5-inch and 6-inch depths.
5-Inch Trough: Commonly used by builders to reduce costs, the 5-inch trough is suitable for smaller roofs or areas where water runoff is minimal. It provides adequate protection in many cases but may not be ideal for larger roof sections.
6-Inch Trough: We recommend the 6-inch trough for most homes as it offers better protection for the entire fascia of the roof edge. This size prevents moisture damage to the fascia wood and ensures more effective water management. In areas where large roof sections shed considerable amounts of water, the 6-inch trough is often necessary.

Downspout Size Considerations
Downspouts, the pipes responsible for channeling water from the gutter to the ground, come in two common sizes:
2-Inch by 3-Inch: This standard size is suitable for average water flow in residential applications.
3-Inch by 4-Inch: A larger downspout that allows for faster drainage, typically used with the 5-inch gutter trough for better water management. With a 6-inch gutter trough, we always recommend the 3×4 downspout to ensure optimal flow and performance, except in rare cases where an alternative is required.
This combination of properly sized gutters and downspouts ensures your home is protected from water damage while offering efficient and long-lasting performance.

New Seamless Rain Gutter Installation Process
Our team follows a precise and detailed installation process to ensure your new seamless rain gutters perform optimally:
- Design Review: We begin by following the design guidelines tailored to your home, ensuring the gutters are correctly sized and installed for maximum efficiency.
- Removal of Old Gutters: If you're replacing old gutters, we will carefully remove them before starting the new installation.
- Roll Forming Onsite: Using our specialized machine, each section of gutter trough is roll-formed onsite to exact lengths, tailored to the roof sections.
- Installing Gutter Trough Hangers: Specialized hangers are installed to secure the gutter trough.
- Slope Adjustment: The gutter trough is positioned with a slope to ensure efficient draining of rainwater.
- Securing Gutter Trough: The gutter trough is fastened to the fascia using proper screws at each hanger location.
- Support Straps: Support straps are added and fastened to the roof edge for additional stability.
- Sealing Corners: All gutter trough corners are sealed with a high-quality lifetime sealant.
- Downspout Installation: Downspouts are positioned, mechanically fastened to the gutter trough, and securely strapped and riveted to the wall with appropriate outlets.
- Downspouts are strapped and riveted to wall and outlet positioned appropriately
Color Selections
We offer a wide range of colors, including premium options with slightly higher costs. Homeowners can choose different colors for the gutter trough and downspouts to match or accent their home’s exterior. Popular choices include matching the downspouts to the brick or siding and selecting contrasting colors for the gutter trough to complement the trim. We provide color samples to help you make the best selection.
Optional Gutter Leaf Guard Screens
If your home is surrounded by trees, we recommend installing leaf guard screens to prevent debris buildup. These screens create a barrier over the gutters, allowing rainwater to flow through while keeping leaves, twigs, and other debris out. Additionally, the screens help prevent birds from nesting in your gutters. We offer several styles of leaf guards to suit your needs and protect your new gutter system.
